What does 'Counting Macros' mean?

Counting macros refers to tracking the number of grams of consumed daily of each of the macronutrients: carbohydrates, fats and proteins. Based on your current body composition, age, sex and activity level, you would be given a target number of grams to consume daily.

Why count macros?

For those who adhere to a counting macros regimen, results are amazing. Whether you are trying to lose overall weight, reduce body fat percentage, or increase mass, counting macros provides a clear formula that will help you meet your goal.

  1. Holds you accountable to eat the right amounts of food to meet your goals

  2. Provide awareness of any imbalances you may have with your current nutrition

  3. No eliminated food groups

  4. Provide awareness of serving size and how foods work for us
